屠妖节单词——Deepavali由“Dipa”和“Gavali”两个字结合而成，Dipa所指的就是“灯”，而Gavali则意指“一排”，因此屠妖节也叫作“排灯节”或“万灯节”，寓意“正义战胜邪恶，光明驱赶黑暗”，也称“光明节”。
